Congratulations to National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist, Hannah Litke! Hannah Litke, National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist

Congratulations to Greeneview senior Hannah Litke for being named a National Merit Semifinalist!

Out of the 1.5 million students who took the PSAT their junior year, only 16,000 qualified to be named as a semifinalist. Hannah now has the opportunity to compete in the finalist round. The nationwide pool of Semifinalists, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, includes the highest-scoring entrants in each state. Finalists will be announced in February.

Hannah plans to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education next year.

Senior Published in Literary Journal

Congratulations to Senior Matt Preen on the publication of his flash fiction piece titled "Disappointment." The story examines the emotions and memories associated with a relationship that has reached its conclusion. Matt's story was chosen out of many submissions to be published this Spring in The Spectrum, a local literary journal organized by Yellow Springs High School. Way to write, Matt!
