Greeneview District Student Technology 1:1 Initiative

We believe the use of technology in the classrooms encourages individual learning and will prepare children to acquire the necessary skills to be ready for the workplace once they complete school.

Our teachers utilize Google Classroom to assign classroom activities and instruction to students. Other tools, apps, and resources can be found at our District Digital Content information.

High School & Middle School

Each 8th Grader and 4th Grader will receive a new chromebook with case each year. They take this device home everyday to complete assigned school work.  The chromebook assigned to the student will be assigned to them each year.  Each student will pay a fee of $30 per year. At the end of each school year the student will turn in their device during the last week of school before summer break. More further details about the program can be found in the Chromebook 1:1 Policy.

Upon graduation if the senior has attended Greeneview they will keep their assigned device after finalizing all student fees. If fee's are not paid the student is required to turn in the device before graduation.

Sophomores attending Greene County Career Center during their junior year, once accepted and attending during their junior year, students will have the option to purchase their device before Sept 30th for an Extra $60. If not purchased the device will be repurposed and they will not be able to purchase at a later time. Please contact the High School front office for more information.
